The C$50 floor is the real problem

Speed is bad and predictable. The floor is worse and it catches people out. On a C$60 balance a C$50 minimum means you cannot take out most of what you have without first losing enough to make the rest withdrawable, or leaving it behind. That is the single most player-hostile number on this page.

Interac floors at C$10 and MuchBetter at C$10.

Refunds, not payments

A card withdrawal is processed as a refund against the original deposit, which is why it has to route back through the issuing bank and why it takes three days. It also means you often cannot withdraw more than you deposited on the card, with the excess forced onto another rail anyway.

So a card cashout is frequently two cashouts on two rails, with the slower one setting the pace.

Canadian banks decline gambling deposits

RBC, TD and Scotiabank all block gambling merchant codes on some card products, and the decline arrives with no explanation at the deposit screen. It is not the casino. Switching to Interac or a wallet fixes it immediately.

Use the card to deposit if nothing else works. Do not use it to withdraw.
